Changing contact properties

To update a contact’s data, go to their conversation and open the contact panel on the top right.

To update a contact’s profile data, hover over any of their properties underneath “contact data”

For the data you want to edit, click the field and change the information accordingly.

To change contact data, hover over any existing value, and click to open editing.

Update the field and it will be automatically saved.

Adding Hoola contact fields

To add contact properties, open the contact panel of any contact.

In the contact panel, click “New field”.

You will be prompted to provide a field name and type.

Save the property and it will be added to all contact profiles.

Klaviyo contact properties

To sync Klaviyo properties correctly, either one-way or two-way, make sure you have the integration configured correctly:

• Check “Properties” to import properties from Klaviyo into Hoola
• Check “Sync on Update” to send Hoola properties to Klaviyo
• Check “Klaviyo Properties” to send & overwrite properties in Klaviyo, when they’re updated in Hoola. (two-way sync)

Adding Klaviyo properties

To add a property for Klaviyo and see it in Hoola, you need to set up the new property in Klaviyo.

In the conversation, open the contact panel and click on the linked “Klaviyo” account.

In their contact profile, click “Add custom property”

You will be prompted to add a custom propety, add a value, and it will be synced to Hoola.
